Born and raised in the Bahamas our number one industry is tourism, so in order for the country as whole to make money we need people to come in a spend. One of our big attractions are the coral reefs. Tourist would pay to just scuba dive and see the beautiful coral reefs but recently there has been a fall in the production and care of the coral reefs. Coral reefs are the most diverse of all marine ecosystems. They teem with life, with perhaps one quarter of all ocean species depending on reefs for food and shelter. (http://ocean.si.edu/corals-and-coral-reefs). So my parents formed a charity organization with in there company to help fund the protection of the coral reef. My personal experience started with the helping the coral reefs by sinking the ships to start new reefs for fishes to live also try to limit boats in those areas because when tide is low the propellers can damage the reefs as well but the biggest factor was educating people on the importance of the reefs in our little country.

I personally think that technology should be used in class rooms because students will be more adaptable and interested to learn, classroom run more efficient with learning and capability, also prepare students for the future.

Technology is something that is around us on a everyday bases in my generation vs. my parents generation we are more technologically advance and consider to use technology day to day vs. parents probably didn’t know what an Iphone was. So with technology be promoted in class students would be able to understand the work a little different and because it is not a boring old fashion text book they might read there work our have programs read for them either way the work is still done.

technology purpose was to allow a shortcut or make things quicker and easier, well in the case of a school setting technology can help students carry less book everyday because there textbook would all be electronic they can prioritize themselves better with calendars and reminders be in sync with the teachers plan book on her device. Also students will be able to work a there pace and get a better understanding of the working have lessons recorded allows a student to go back and review a piece of work that they might just not have understand fully in class.

Last point but classroom/school environment along education are suppose to life long skills and lessons. The way the world is advancing students should be granted the opportunity to be updated with world and its new methods.

6pm in New York by Drake is a song that starts with a old feel of a New York sample which gives listeners a feel of being in the city years before the recording. Although this is considered a Rap song but the use of instrumentation gives off a r and b feeling which is laid back for telling a story and that is exactly what drake did. The lyrics of the song is a ‘diss’ track towards a rapper name Tyga. What gave that away for me was the fact that drake stated that “you need to act your age not your girls age” which can be considered that drake is saying Tyga acting like a child considering she was 17 at the time. What motivated the song was a altercation that took place in a club named vibe drake used the song to respond to the problem. This began a hit and stirred up the beef but Tyga did not respond to the situation to this day and eventually the beef died off, but along side the drake dissing Tyga he teaches life lessons in his song, stated that “being number two is just first to lose” showing people in life try to shoot for the best and never give up until you become the best because when you do make it to the top you “you got to love”.

Along side many other countries that drinking is 18 the U.S is one of the few countries that drinking age is 21 with this being said the U.S should drop the legal drinking age to 18 because it would reduce alcohol abuse, children be more comfortable with discussing or using alcohol in front of adults and will be fairing judge by other social drug problems. Alcohol abuse has a lot to do with children who drink underage, a lot of kids can state that being involve in something illegal makes them feel cooler or the act feel ten times better. If the legal drinking age was 18 then it would be a less time for a teenager to wait to drink it also begins to lose the hype or the good feeling of doing something illegal, and if alcohol usage is common then there is more education on the use of alcohol and kids wont abuse it because they can always get it or go to a bar for it which will result into more overseeing of people who are drinking. If kids can drink at 18 they would feel more comfortable talking to a parent about drinking because the fact lies with them be legal they are not committing a crime and their parents can give them the right advise rather then kids abusing it with there friends until the age of 21 then they build a addiction that could have been prevented. One point that does not make sense to me is that in certain state kids the age of 18 can buy cigarettes or weed also serve in the military which all can possible lead to death but can not buy alcohol which simply does not make sense to me. In conclusion allowing drinking at a early age can prevent a lot of issues the U.S face today with young adults and alcohol addictive with a earlier drinking time.

The time I was a leader was during my my state semi-finals for football. The situation at hand was that my team offensively were not coming together and putting points on the board because people wanted to do it there way and no way was working. So in result of that I decided to request a play that was design for me. I created the huddle to tell my teammates the play then ask them to trust me for one play. They responded with a yes, we ran the play and i got the 1st down then re ran again and again we just kept get yards until to our first TD then our offensive began to flow again. From this event I learned that before you help people you have to trust yourself first, also things in life do not come easy you have to work for it in our case going to State and winning state championship.

College players should not be paid because they get scholarship to attend university that cost 30,000 to 60,000 and more sometimes also it can lessen the intensity of the sport and competing. Being a student athlete should should require the athlete that receive a a full ride to a top school should be a big enough payment because although they are good they at the school to still receive some type of education which some athletes do not receive today because they already feel comfortable enough that they are going to the pros but because they are not payed yet they continue to work hard in their craft. Which leads to the next point that student athletes if were payed would not have no motive to go to the league because they are already making top dollar in college which would probable cause a lot of college drop outs and less views and fans of the NCAA because the games will just be like pro games. In conclusion I do think that athletes should be taken care of but not given a salary because they do generate a lot of money for school.

To Amputate a body part most times in today society is used for health problems, it is normally considered the worst case scenario. For a person that has a health issue that is detrimental to their life, for example blood clots, would have to amputate the part of their body that is clotted. A person that has eliminates healthy parts of the body to accommodate more sophisticated replacement limbs should not be allowed because it is a waste of time and a selfish move towards other and resources that are needed for people who do not have the choice. Having a artificial limb is not a bonus, it can be expensive and sometimes be very different in altering a person’s lifestyle. Doctors who offer to amputate should amputate those patients limbs so that they can use a prosthetic to improve their health and lifestyle however doctors should not amputate those people who for other non health reasons, want them voluntarily removed because it can be considered unethical.

Gospel music is a music style that comes from the African American who sung spirituals. Gospel music can be considered today the modern day spirituals of good news for many people but some see more than just the lyrics. Like stated before gospel means good news but makes it so special aside from the meaning of the lyrics. Gospel can be viewed as a genre that influenced many with its unique style. When listen to gospel there has to be an open ear for everything that is going on because the art of gospel comes with strong vocals, with extra solos and strong choir parts all put together at once. Also aside from the vocals observing those bands three to five mins and watching them performing can be the most entertaining piece of genre out in todays society but because the main objective is to push/lead people to Christ it will never get the right attention it need in today society.

Students should be required to take a drug test because in the early age of school the minds of a student is not fully develop as yet, drug addiction, and discipline. It known by study that the human body is not fully develop until the around the age of 16-17 on average. With that being said the drugs such as alcohol, nicotine and weed which are known to be the common ones in todays society can directly effect the brain liver and kidney which are very in the develop stages. As a young student it is can also be dangerous on the body because using drugs can be considered cool in the youth so there would be a-lot of drug abuse which cause permeant damage to those organs. After using these drugs time makes you more committed because that first feel you get cause people to keep chasing that first buzz they got when they took that first pull from drug. Being able to drug test kids in school can allow correction and discipline also can give them the fear and knowledge behind using drugs. This can help future generations into running away from drugs.

People who have be convicted of crimes should be allowed to vote, the reason why is because although they committed a criminal act they have served their time behind bars and when released they are considered a “free man/women”.  Neglecting people the right to vote after their time served in a jail/prison cell rejects that individual from society showing that he or she is not good enough to have a say in a democratic nation based on the past affiliations with breaking the law. In a democratic nation voting is very important, it gives you a chance to voice your opinion. Allowing everyone that is considered a “free man” ability to vote allows the country to see exactly and fairly what the country wants as a whole and it allow the country to run more efficiently. People in prison should not have the right to vote because one of the reasons of prison is to pull you away from society because you do not know how to cooperate so while in prison you don’t have a say.
